About Us

We moved to Manorbier 20 years ago and after renovation of the main farmhouse we set about converting the old hay barn. The old english name the haggard means "the hay guard"and was a small enclosed area used to store the fodder for animals overwinter - hence the name of the cottage!

It was an exciting project and the building constraints of living within the National Park has meant that we have hopefully sympathetically converted the building so as to retain its character and charm.

We have recently moved to an organic dairy farm in Cresselly (15 minutes away) so have swapped the sea for the estuary but come back frequently to maintain the veggie patch and surf!
